This park is really located in Bird in Hand, PA, not Gordonville. That aside it is very nice we went here in a group; everyone was very pleased. The sites varied in size, from small to large; some were wooded and some were open. We had an open site that was large, and we were quite pleased it was somewhat level (needed to run up on some boards to level off). We had use of the pavilion which was quite nice. The playground was nice to use and it included a volleyball net and horseshoes. The pool was on the other side of the office, and I didn't visit it. There was some noise off the highway, and sometimes there was a small problem with people hooking up and people coming in. There was also a noticeable smell of cow manure in the air when the wind was right (this is typical of Lancaster County). Overall a very nice park and one that we would visit again I am sure.

This is an excellent campground with very nice people. The grounds are very clean. The pull though sites will accommodate any size rig. Super close to the Newfoundland ferry, in fact we stayed here coming and going, and will stay here if we are ever in the area.

This is a fine, clean, beautiful campground with a great nature trail and craft shop right on premises. The only fault I can find with this is it doesn't have pull through sites. I must agree with other reviews about everything else. I would go back there, in fact I did, I stopped coming and going from the Viking Trail.

Great location and this park has everything you need for a nice stay; very close to the L'ance aux Meadows site and the Norseman restaurant (which I suggest). The park is also close enough to St. Anthony's for whale and iceberg watching. They had the boil water sign on the water hookup so I just used my own. We stayed in a fifth wheel here for 2 days and I would stay here again if in the area. As I read in a previous post I have paid much more for less.

This is really a Gas Station/ Convenience store, that is a memorable place to park your RV. The level sites are back in or front in for Motorhomes will expose you to the edge of a cliff that overlooks Red Bay and the Ocean, it is magnificent. If you have a big window in the back its like having a "Million Dollar" view for twenty bucks. Very nice people in store and in town. We ate in the restaurant in town all three nights. This is a great spot to set up as a "home base" while visiting Labrador. The sites appear to be narrow ( I was here by myself).

This campground deserves all its high ratings and accolades. The views are spectacular, the grounds were well maintained and groomed, The bathrooms were spotless and the pool refreshing. and the hosts were very accommodating. The only drawback was the absence of cable, Not only would I go back, I have already made reservations for the fall. Excellent campground!!!

This campground is a Fairfax County park and is located in the Washington DC suburbs, I found this campground clean, convenient and close. I thought the sites were large enough for even the biggest rigs and shady enough for the smallest of tents. I found the cohabitation of Big Rigs and Boy Scouts a delightful change from the RV parks we usually frequent. The 50 amp sites were mostly level the sites don’t have water or sewer and the bathroom was somewhat dated but clean. The water park and carrousel were as good as you’ll find in any campground and a petting zoo was very close. Shopping and site seeing within 10 miles of this campground would be unsurpassed in any campground anywhere. I would recommend this park and will return.

This campground is a hidden treasure, we camped here with a group, everyone enjoyed themselves and the facilities. Good fishing, good boating (canoes and kayaks), this campground is a 10 even though you can't get satellite, or full hookup. The naturalist came by with animals every night (walked the loops) this campground is part of the scales and tails program, the kids loved it. Lots for everyone to do at this campground and all for a bargain price. This campground is truly a 10.

I live 10 miles from here and have stayed at all the campgrounds around DC, and this is the place to be if you are going to visit DC. We camped here while testing out our new RV. I selected a “Premium” site, which means I had some patio furniture and a decent view. The good points are it is close to Metro (our subway system) and it has a bus stop on premises which will get you there, it also had tourist buses which will take you directly to DC. The bathrooms were clean, The have a small convenience store with limited RV supplies a cafe and a game room, the two pools (one heated) were very nice as was the spa (hot tub). The free Wi-Fi had a strong signal however my site was near office. There was a security guard at a booth and a working gate. They had tourism lectures, movies and good cable selection. Now for the rough spots. The gravel sites.... please for the money that we are paying I expect paved parking pads, my four wheel drive truck was spinning four wheels while going up on boards trying to level. There is a lot of highway noise and you never really get used to it. I also thought the sites were a little close but in this area its just the way it is. Overall this is a very good campground. We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay here again in fact I already have reservations.

In the Baltimore Washington region there are very few camping options, all of the private campgrounds are expensive, this is no exception. This is a “nice” KOA, it is clean well cared for and the staff is friendly. My site was near the office and the Wi-Fi signal was very good. This campground is closer to Baltimore and Annapolis than Washington. There was a small amount of road noise, most of the gravel sites weren’t level, my “Big Rig” pull through site only had 30 amp. I think if you were visiting Baltimore or Annapolis this would be a nice campground but if you are visiting Washington DC I would investigate further options. Price is keeping this campground from having a higher rating.

This is the place to be if you are going to visit Harpers Ferry, the C.& O. Canal, or Charlestown Race Track. I selected a “Pull-Thru” site, I was escorted to my site, the first site wasn't "Big Rig" friendly and my guide promptly and nicely got me another site and led me to it and helped me park. The campground is very family friendly with movies and crafts all day long. This is the site of an actual Civil War battle and there is a museum on the premises. Now for the rough spots. The un-level gravel sites.... please for the money that we are paying I expect paved level parking pads, I also thought the sites were small. This is a very good campground. We have stayed here before and we will definitely stay here again.

We made a round trip to Florida this month and stayed here on both legs, found the pull-thru overnight sites level. On the way down we didn't pull in till after midnight they had late check-in and easy to find overnight sites. This campground is very new, very clean and very close to I-95 but far enough away not to hear the traffic noise. We will stay here again.

Great state park, very nice playgrounds, lake with fishing and boat rental, mountain biking trails, nature trails. More activities then you can do. However no satellite because of trees everywhere, but temperature is 10 degrees cooler inside the park. You can get decent TV reception on antenna. Park is clean and well maintained. Even though I didn't use restrooms others in my group did and I didn't here any complaints. Our group comes here every year and will continue to do so. Remember to fill up with water before you unhook no water at sites. Nice level sites with 30 amp. Many activities for the kids and adults.
